Born in England, Anne grew up in southern Ontario and moved to Vancouver in 1979. After studying textiles at Sheridan College, School of Design in Toronto, she spent ten years painting on silk. Her silk garments sold across Canada and locally through Circle Craft and various retail outlets. She taught classes through the Vancouver School Board and at her studio.
Anne later pursued Fine Art at Emily Carr University, where she graduated in 1993. For eight years, she created prints (woodcuts, collographs and monotypes) at Malaspina Printmaker’s Studio on Granville Island. In 2008, she returned to her painting practice, opening her studio on William St. in Vancouver.
Anne participates in the “Eastside Culture Crawl,” an annual visual arts festival in East Vancouver. She has exhibited throughout the Lower Mainland as well as other parts of Canada, the US and Japan.
